For ESA & scholarship families

Spend your scholarship on practice that's honest with you

AcornSmarts is an approved education vendor for Missouri's MOScholars program and Louisiana's LA GATOR scholarship. One simple license, real Pre-K–8 practice in English and Spanish, and paperwork-ready records — because ESA families carry the documentation burden, and your app should carry its share.

Where you can use program funds

We list through Odyssey, the marketplace platform these programs use. Same product, same price as every other family — that's a program rule we signed, and we'd keep it anyway.

Missouri

MOScholars

Black Swan Media Solutions LLC (the family company behind AcornSmarts) is an approved MOScholars education vendor. Our licenses are approved in the Odyssey marketplace where MOScholars families shop.

✅ Approved in the Odyssey marketplace
Louisiana

LA GATOR Scholarship

We're an approved LA GATOR vendor too — the same license, the same price. One honest note: our public standards reports cover Kansas and Missouri today, so we don't claim Louisiana standards alignment. The practice itself travels just fine.

✅ Approved in the Odyssey marketplace
Georgia

Georgia Promise Scholarship

We're an approved Georgia Promise Scholarship vendor — the same licenses, the same price. Our public standards reports cover Kansas and Missouri today, so we don't claim Georgia standards alignment. The practice itself travels just fine.

✅ Approved in the Odyssey marketplace
Wyoming

Wyoming ESA

We're an approved Wyoming ESA vendor — the same licenses, the same price. Our public standards reports cover Kansas and Missouri today, so we don't claim Wyoming standards alignment. The practice itself travels just fine.

✅ Approved in the Odyssey marketplace
Utah

Utah Fits All

We're an approved Utah Fits All vendor — the same licenses, the same price. Our public standards reports cover Kansas and Missouri today, so we don't claim Utah standards alignment. The practice itself travels just fine.

✅ Approved in the Odyssey marketplace

Approvals above were checked in each program's Odyssey vendor portal on 04 Oct 2026. We've applied in Iowa's Students First ESA too; it's still under review, and we'll add it here only once it's confirmed.

How it works, start to finish

Find us on your program's marketplaceLog in to your Odyssey family account (MOScholars or LA GATOR) and search for AcornSmarts. You'll find the Single Student 1-Year License ($59, Pre-K–8) — and, in MOScholars, LA GATOR Scholarship, Georgia Promise Scholarship, Wyoming ESA and Utah Fits All, the High School 1-Year License ($99, grades 9–12). Purchase with your scholarship balance — no card needed.
We send your access keyAfter the marketplace order, you receive an access key. In the AcornSmarts app, create your free family account, then open Upgrade, tap "Have an access key?" and redeem it. Your year starts the day you redeem — not the day you bought.
Practice — and keep clean recordsYour child practices. When paperwork season comes, one tap in the Family Almanac prints a reimbursement-support bundle: vendor record, dated usage attestation from the real practice log, and a plain-language explainer.

Two licenses. One rule: the same price for everyone.

Program rules forbid charging scholarship families differently — and our own no-tricks billing pledge got there first. No promo games, no ESA markup, nothing to compare-shop.

🤝 The honest fine print, up front

Scholarship purchases run through your program's marketplace and follow your program's rules — your state decides what qualifies, not us. Our reimbursement bundle documents what actually happened (real practice days, recorded minutes, published price) and never invents a number: your exact payment amount lives on the marketplace receipt, so attach it. Standards-alignment reports are published for Kansas and Missouri at acornsmarts.com/standards — we don't claim alignment anywhere we haven't verified. General information, not legal or tax advice.

Why ESA families pick AcornSmarts

🧾
Paperwork is a feature, not your problemESA programs audit. The Family Almanac's ledger prints dated, honest usage records drawn from your own device — never inflated, never back-filled.
🎯
Practice that adapts, honestlyLevels move with your child. Mastery is earned, not gifted — when the app says a skill is solid, a teacher would agree.
🌐
Truly bilingual, not translated-laterQuestions, hints, stories, and parent reports are first-class content in English and Spanish.
✍️
Real writing, really scoredKids write actual sentences and paragraphs — not just multiple choice. An AI model (Anthropic's Claude) scores each answer and picks feedback from our fixed set of pre-written coaching lines; your child never sees text the model wrote.
🔒
Private by architectureNo ads, no trackers, no data sales. The family PIN never leaves your device, and the app sends no child data anywhere unless you turn on cloud sync, join a class with a class code, or use Writing Coach. Read-aloud and voice answers use your browser's own voice services, which some browsers run online. See every outside service we use.
